Overview
U4 Little Lions introduces children to the game of soccer in a fun and interactive way. A safe and positive environment is created in which children can learn the basic fundamentals and develop a life-long love of the game.  These sessions are led by volunteers who are provided weekly training sessions by our lead Recreational director.  

We will provide developmentally appropriate related activities and games to encourage players to participate, maximize enjoyment, and develop confidence with the ball. Some of these will be with the ball and some will not, as we are looking to create an all-round athletic development for children for important skills such as running, changing directions, balance, agility, coordination, flexibility and spatial awareness.

Volunteer parent coaches are encouraged to help the transition to the soccer field for the first few sessions and then gradually step away to help develop their child's independence.

Parent/guardian or an acceptable older sibling is required to be present at every session and strongly encouraged to participate to increase the child’s sense of comfort.
