The U11 Lady Cannons 97 Gold soccer team traveled to Chattanooga, Tenn., to compete in the 21st Annual Redoubt Invitational Tournament on May 24-25 and came home division champions. Click on the "Read more" below for details and a picture. Along the way to the U11 title, the Cannons posted a 2-0-1 record and defeated the Tennessee state champions in the finals. The Cannons blanked the Lazers 98, 3-0, in their opening game, then tied the East Ridge Hurricanes 0-0 to earn a spot in the finals. In the championship game, the Cannons upset state champion Signal Mountain with a hard-fought 2-1 victory.
